All is set for the film personalities to hit the roads in Chennai on 4 April near Chepauk.

Actors, actresses, producers, directors, and members of the various affiliate unions of the Tamil film industry will take part in the hunger protest organized against attacks on Tamil establishments and theatres screening Tamil films in neighboring Karnataka.

The following resolutions were passed during this meeting

· Various film associations would take part in the fast. Work pertaining to the industry, including shooting in other locations, would be suspended on that day.

· All technicians and artists of Tamil industry who are of Karnataka origin must also participate in the protest, failure of which would lead to non-cooperation from the industry here.

· Those involved in shooting in other places and abroad must cancel their schedule to take part in the protest.

Actors Sathyaraj, Radha Ravi and Vijayakumar and Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan were among the participants.
