South Indian Stunt Master Rambo Rajkumar is passed away
Very famous stunt choreographer in south Indian films, Rambo Rajkumar died of a heart attack in Hyderabad on Saturday (April 25).
It was during the shoot of a Telugu untitled film (remake of Polladhavan) that he suffered a major attack and was taken to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
A known name in the tinsel world, “Rambo” Rajkumar had worked in more than 400 films in various languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. His popular films included Dhanush starred “Polladhavan”, “Kadhal Konden” and Satyaraj acted “Villathi Villan” and “Amaithi Padai” more.
Rajkumar had an unique style of realistic close combat fight scenes, like what Sylvester Stallone did in Rambo, hence the prefix ‘Rambo’ to his name. He is the son of stuntman TK Parameswar who had done MGR films. Today’s top stuntmen like Kanal Kannan has worked as assistant to Rajkumar.
His body would be flown to the city from Hyderabad later today and the cremation would take place tomorrow.
Members of the Tamil Film Stunt Union and Film Artistes Association condoled the death of Rajkumar.
