This campus love story is produced by Gemini Film Circuit and directed by newcomer Kumaravel. The audio launch of this film took place on July 12th and was attended by several VIPs of Kollywood. Legendary actor Kamal Haasan released the first audio to K. Bhagyaraj. Kamal wished the entire team of Ninaithaale Inikkum the very best of luck and also hoped that the film would do well and cross the 100 days milestone.

The best actress award has been given to Priyamani for Muthazhagu character in Paruthi Veeran directed by Ameer Sultan. This film was also featured at the Berlin Film Festival.

For this appreciation, Priyamani told ” I never expected an award – leave alone a national one. All credit goes to director Ameer for his faith and the technicians who etched my role despite it being totally deglamourised. The entire team deserves ample praise. The best Tamil film went to Vasanthabalan’s Veyil.
