As the schedule is nearing, we asked Suriya regarding his preparation for the Hindi Version. He said that he is taking special tuition from a Hindi professor from Madurai as he would like to dub in his own voice for RGV’s film. And the latest we hear is that his sweetheart Jo is also helping him out full time to learn the language.

Moreover Jyothika will be in the sets of ‘Raktha Charithra’ with baby Diya for few days and assist Suriya with his dialogues.

We hear that a lot of fans are coming to see Suriya. And our young hero is so jovial that he is spending time along with his fans till a shot is getting ready. Looks like Suriya is happy about the way the natives treat him. He is also going to few of their houses and having a good feast with them.

“People of Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi are seeing me as a member of their family. Their affection is stunning me. Though these people go out of their place for their line of business, they all come together as a family during festive seasons, this is really touching,” said Suriya in an interview for a local channel.

On the other hand director Hari is confident to make it big, as ‘Singam’ is being shot in his lucky locations like Kutralam, Thiruchendur and Tirunelveli.

After his films Vaaranam Aayiram and Ayan, Suriya is teaming up with Hari to don a police officer for his 25th film.

Story of Singam revolves around smuggling activities taking place in Rameshwaram. Suriya plays a cop after Khaaka Khaaka and the film is expected to have the right mix of sentiments and comedy like all Hari films.

For the director too it will be second police story after his blockbuster Saamy with Vikram. Hari had earlier directed Suriya’s Aaru in 2005 and Vel in 2007. Hari’s latest offering was Seval with Bharath.

Singam will have Tollywood beauty Anushka Shetty in the female lead. Anushka made her debut in Tamil Cinema with Madhavan’s Rendu. Notable thing is she also is pairing up with Vijay in Vettaikaaran. The other cast includes Prakash Raj and Vivek.

Devi Sri Prasad scores music and Priyan wields camera. VT Vijayan is the editor and K. Kathir is Art director.

The first schedule is to be completed in Tirunelveli, Ambasamudram, Kutralam, Karaikudi and Thuthukudi and the second schedule in Chennai, Hyderabad and Vizagapatnam.

The film is being produced by Gnanavelraja under the banner Studio Green and BIG Pictures. Studio Green has earlier made Sillunnu Oru Kaadhal and Paruthiveeran.

Singam will mark the entry of Reliance Big Pictures in Tamil Cinema.

The unit of Aadhavan is currently in Cape Town, South Africa shooting the climax scenes with Suriya, Murali (Malayalam actor) and Rahul Dev, who plays the villain. The film was recently shot in Iceland and according to reports; Aadhavan is the first Indian movie to be shot in the scenic locales of Iceland.

Aadhavan is a story of a huge joint family. A rich woman (Saroja Devi) has four sons and her oldest son has a daughter, played by Nayantara. Vadivelu plays her cook. Suriya plays a servant who wants to take revenge on the household but ends up in becoming the owner.

Like Suriya’s earlier films, Aadhavan will be dubbed in Telugu by producer Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner of Red Giant Movies. Also in the cast are Murali, Pepsi Vijayan, Ramesh Khanna, Sayaji Shinde, Rahul Dev, Anand Babu and Manobala.

The story is by N.S. Ramesh Khanna. Cinematography is by Ra. Ganesh, the art director is Rajeevan, editing is by Don Max and stunts are by Kanal Kannan. The film is co-produced by M. Senbagamurthy and R. Arjun Dorai.

The music will be done by Harris Jayaraj who has already given musical hits in Vaaranam Aayiram and Ayan. Every song is given much importance , among them ‘Dekko Dekko’ song with Vaali’s wonderful lyrics, was specially choreographed with 200 supporting artists by Gayathri Raghuram. Surya – Nayanthara and Murali-Saroja devi pair, acted together for the song ‘Masi Masi’ which was shot at Darjeeling . ‘Vaarayo Vaarayo ‘ song was shot in AVM studio in a set designed by art director Rajeevan. ‘Yeno Yeno’ with lyrics of kavignar thamarai’s  was shot in Iceland for ten days and it was choreographed by Dinesh.

After completing Adhavan, Surya is expected to do Mugamudi, which will be directed by Mysskin. Sun Pictures is expected to produce the film

Nee Indri Naan Illai movie screenplay will be written by Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Kalaignar Karunanidhi. It is well known that writing is the passion for Kalaigner Karunanidhi, C.M. Tamil Nadu. His numbers of stories were made as pictures in Tamil. The title of this flick was given by the C.M as “Nee Indri Naan Illai”. The film is going to be produced by Nandini Arts. Kannan will be the cinematographer. Nee Indri Naan Illai cast include Thalaivasal Vijay, Manorama, Ganja Karuppu and Kovai Sarala. ‘Thenisai Thendral’ Deva scores the music for this movie. Lyrics penned by Vairamuthu, Mu. Metha, Na. Muthukumar and Pazhanibharathi.

Two years after the birth of their baby Diya and Jyotika announcing that she is putting her film career on hold, the star couple Suriya and Jyotika were spotted at a photo shoot for an advertisement, in Chennai. After being seen officially on camera for only one other time (for a social awareness video for Suriya’s Agaram Foundation projects), this is the first time the two of them have posed together for the camera. Apparently, when asked whether this is the re-start of her film career, Jo just flashed her brilliant smile and said, “Gosh, no. No plans for that right now and who knows if I could even remember how to act!”
