‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ Releases on Valentine’s Day

After the super success of ‘Varanam Aayiram’ both critically and popularly, Goutham Menon is ready with his romantic flick ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’. The film has already made the headlines with its music launch in London. The film is a made in Tamil and Telugu A R Rahman scoring music for the first time for a Menon film. Goutham’s favourite lyricist Thamarai has penned all the songs.

Reliable sources have said to the film will have separate music launches in Hyderabad and Chennai and the eagerly awaited film will be released on Valentine’s Day almost certainly.

The story of the film goes like this. Silambarasan is an assistant who aspires to be a successful director. He and Trisha fall in love and the love life almost makes Silambarasan drift away from his dream for the sake of love.

Silambarasan and Trisha have become even closer

After the pack-up of the shoot, Silambarasan will return to his hotel by late night 10, after visiting New York’s Mayor Office. He would enquire and know about the payments to be made for shooting a film in the city, say the sources. In fact the hero was doing the job of a production manager. And when we were thinking as to why the hero should do such things, sources from Goutham Menon’s office said that Silambarasan is learning the procedures for his own use.

Most importantly, Silambarasan has visited a lot of first-assistant directors of Hollywood in Los Angeles and has enquired about the Hollywood productions.

Whenever the hero starts on such tasks, his close friend would accompany him every time. And that close buddy is our Trisha dear.

After knowing Silambarasan’s aptitude and interest in film making, the girl wished him best of luck. Trisha has also gifted him a software that is used to build auto story board by Hollywood Script writers. And Silambarasan who did not expect such a thoughtful gift from Trisha was very happy about it, say the sources.

The climax portion of Goutham Menon’s ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ was canned in New York. But then sadly, the film’s team was not able to complete the full shoot as it was planned. So, the director decided to match the remaining part in Chennai.

Sources close to Silambarasan say that, he feels that ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ is a milestone in this 25 years long career.

With his Vamanan due for a release soon, the film’s lead actor Jai talks about his close friends in the Tamil film industry- Silambarasan and Ajith. The actor said that Silambarasan is a very helpful person and has never hesitated to share tips about acting, dancing and stunts. “This has helped in developing my skills,” says Jai. He added that Silambarasan also advises on how to react with the media persons.

Speaking about Ajith, the actor said that he is a patient listener and ready to lend a helping hand when asked for. Jai said that when he was facing a ban from the producers’ council, he was so dejected and used to call Ajith at late nights to pour his heart out which Ajith used to listen patiently.

“Bad Girl, Good Boy” – Simbu’s next movie Kettavan

Silambarasan, known among his fans as “Little Superstar” and “Simbu” is a young, multi talented and energetic hero in the Kollywood industry. After the movie Kaalai, Simbu’s is playing for Kettavan movie. This is directed by G.T Nandakumar and produced by R.Viswanathan, Bharathan films. The blockbuster Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for this movie.

The Story Kettavan is written by Vallavan @ Simbu who is known for thrilling and lively story like ‘Manmadhan’. It is again a “Bad Girl, Good Boy” movie with an effective screenplay. Silambarasan plays three different personalities; it will be a great challenge for him in this movie. Simbu is introducing Gayathri to play the lead role against him as she will be the replacement of Lekha who will be playing a role of a brahmin girl. The hottest actress Namitha plays a powerful character of a super model. Santhanam joins with Simbu again the pair has done a mind-blowing comedy track in their previous works. Rumors have it that this is a story about his lost love life, and the story revolves around the depressing experiences faced by the lead character.
