The ‘Kanthaswamy’ team is continuing their village adoption events. When asked about it, the film’s producer Thanu disclosed about their new ideas for IndaGlitz exclusively. ‘Kanthaswamy’ team is building a school in 4 acres for a small village called Vani Vilampatti in Madurai. Ramachandra Medical College, AC Shanmugam’s medical camp and Agarwal Hospital’s medical camps are being organized in the village to ensure their health, said Thanu.

Moreover the film’s big hearted producer has arranged for the success bash for the team today evening at Nadigar Sangam. We will have the ‘Kanthaswamy’ beauty, Shriya in the city along with Vikram, Susi, Devi Sri Prasad and Ekambaram. The girl is flying from Mumbai exclusively to take part in her team’s celebration.

The audio of Dhanush-Shriya starrer ‘Kutty’ is hitting the market from today. All we need to do is to grab a copy and enjoy the foot-tapping numbers from Devi Sri Prasad.

As Devi’s music for ‘Arya’ was a big hit in Andhra, expectations are high on this album too. As we know ‘Kutty’, the remake of Telugu movie ‘Arya’, is now to be released on Pongal Day. The film is produced by Gemini Film Circuit and is directed by Jawahar Mithran. It’s worthy mentioning that Mithran Jawahar directed his debut venture ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’ with Dhanush.

Reliable sources have said to the film will have separate music launches in Hyderabad and Chennai and the eagerly awaited film will be released on Valentine’s Day almost certainly.

This Kalpathi S Agoram of AGS Entertainment’s production will be challenging ‘Vettaikkaran’ that’s hitting the theatres on December 18th. ‘Kandha Kottai’, from debutant director Sakthivel has Poorna opposite Nakulan.

The entire movie revolves around Kandha Kottai, a residential colony. Nakulan is a resident of the place while Poorna comes to the colony for holiday. Nakulan hates love while Poorna has a great admiration for love. How they come together in life is the story of ‘Kandha Kottai’.

‘Kandha Kottai’ was at first produced by T.T.Raja for E S K Productions but, Kalpathi Agoram acquired the rights of the film.

Anyways, our ‘Vettaikkaran’ won’t be alone this weekend as ‘Kandha Kottai’ is there to share it all!

Looks like the Malabar beauty did not get any further Bollywood offers and was waiting for a good offer. But then when she came to Chennai for getting her Kalaimamani Award from the TN government, she caught the Sura of South – Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay!

Remember a film that is in pipeline, for which ‘Jayam’ Raja is directing Vijay under the banner of Aascar Films? Yeah, it’s for the same project, say the sources in the know. The celluloid classic was a part of the T20 of Indian films at a contest arranged by the IFFI. Sources confirmed that ‘Nayagan’ was the only Tamil film to get placed among the top 20 ranks. Mother India, Anand, Meghe Dhaka Tara, Charulata, Sholay, Do Bhiga Zamin, Guide, Mughal-e-Azam, Pyasa, Bhuvan Shome, Garam Hawa, Ghatashraddha, Elipathayam, Kagaz Ke Phool, Pather Panchali, Sant Tukaram, Madhumati, Jane Bhi Do Yaro, and Nayagan were the final 20 contestants of this mega contest. It’s worthy to mention here that ‘Nayagan’ also holds the glory for being told as one of the best Indian movies of the century by the ‘Time’ magazine.

According to the current procedure, the film producer should get permission from the Directorate of Information and Public relations to shoot a film at a public place. After getting the permission from DIPR, the filmmakers have to get the permission from the police department. Unfortunately, we have no timing regulations on film shooting like cities have. But we have now decided not to allow any  shooting on busy roads during daytime. As in the city, we will give permission for shooting only from 11 pm to 6 am,” a senior police official said.
