Actor Ajith and Director Sasi Joins Together Once Again

Director Sasi says that after Poo, he has shifted focus to an action film that is based on rowdyism in the city. He also revealed that the script is ready and the movie would go on floors in January 2010. However, speculations rose when Sasi had mentioned that a popular star would be signed up for this venture.

Following this, in a recent interview to a Tamil daily, Sasi was quizzed about reports that he is set to direct Ajith in his next film to which he replied that he is yet to narrate the script to the actor. He added that when an actor like Ajith offers his dates, he cannot let go of it.

Ajith Joins With Shruti Haasan

The much anticipated film Luck, which was the debut vehicle of Shruti Haasan has hit the screens on July 24th.

The media reports are that, Luck, the film that stars Imran Khan and Shruti Haasan, opened to lukewarm response at the box office. However, Shruti Haasan has proved her mettle in the film and is likely to go places, according to industry sources. It is also said that Shruti is now eyeing the Tamil film circuit.

Our sources in Kollywood say that the Haasan girl could be paired up with the Ultimate Star Ajith in his forthcoming flick. A confirmation is awaited on this from either of the sources.

With his Vamanan due for a release soon, the film’s lead actor Jai talks about his close friends in the Tamil film industry- Silambarasan and Ajith. The actor said that Silambarasan is a very helpful person and has never hesitated to share tips about acting, dancing and stunts. “This has helped in developing my skills,” says Jai. He added that Silambarasan also advises on how to react with the media persons.

Speaking about Ajith, the actor said that he is a patient listener and ready to lend a helping hand when asked for. Jai said that when he was facing a ban from the producers’ council, he was so dejected and used to call Ajith at late nights to pour his heart out which Ajith used to listen patiently.

Ultimate Star Ajith will be sporting a long moustache like that of Kamal Haasan in ‘Virumandi’ was revealed as the actor attended a public function recently at Sathyabama College.

Actor Ajith is gearing up for his next film that is to be directed by Saran. The movie tentatively titled ‘Asal’ will be produced by Sivaji Productions and would have musical score by Harris Jayaraj. Ajith who would be playing an action role in the film has gone in for a drastic change in his looks. He has also reportedly lost considerable weight after undergoing rigorous workouts. The shooting for the film is slated to begin next month. Expectations are high on the film as Ajith and Saran had earlier teamed up to render hit films such as ‘Kadhal Mannan’, ‘Amarkalam’ and ‘Attagasam’ earlier.
